Alexa and Google Assistant are compatible robots

Scout is a "smart" robot that works with Amazon Alexa and Google Home. Scout visuals will be played on Alexa Show, on Google screen devices, and voice commands will be used to monitor robot movements.

Home automation and Scout robot

Smart home devices, such as door sensors, will be used to initiate surveillance. When Scout is in its charging station, motion detection is available. Scout will start recording when it receives audio. Google and Google Home can be paired using the Alexa and Google Home apps for Android and iOS.

Scout has a solid iOS and Android app. Once Scout is paired, you can use the Scout app to monitor the robot and watch the video. Scout can be easily connected to a local Wi-Fi hotspot like the Internet of Things (IoT) system and can be accessed remotely via a secure peer-to-peer connection.

In the app, go to the tracking channel you have configured. Scout can be directed to follow a specific route. For now, the App shows the way. Give this monitoring track a name and allow Scout to roam on its own. Scout will notify you if it finds any interest, such as a human body or pets, and will record a 13-second video clip and save it.
